    The Cosmo

My cinema memory is seeing the classic Indian film Pakeeza in the Cosmo cinema in 1972. Its storyline and songs remain imprinted on my mind - I was 15 at the time.

    The Cosmo

I was such a sensible wee engineering student at Glasgow Uni, back in the '60s. I was mad about athletics, though. One day the Cosmo cinema (as it then was) decided on a one-off screening of Tokyo 1964, the official...

    The Vogue

As an eight year old, going by myself to see 2001: A Space Odyssey at The Vogue, Riddrie (this might have been the last movie shown there before it closed). Surprisingly, I was able to make sense of it all and the movie...

    GFT

GFT highlight: Frank Zappa's 200 Motels at the late night screening on a Friday 11pm. Phototcopied 'notes' were handed out in advance. Lowlight: Warhol's Chelsea Girls - was the only person left in the audience...
