Langham Hall Pictures
This short-lived cinema was based in an existing hall. It opened in 1912 with the magnificent title of Glass's Glorious and Bright Pictures. Run by manager Herbert Glass, who advertised showings as twice nightly at 'People's Popular Prices'. A surviving advertising bill also promises a free trip on Victoria Day for children that regularly attended matinees at the cinema. The building has been completely modernised, and is now a workshop.
